We all have seen that moment when modi cried when Mark (Facebook Ceo) asked about the role of Prime minister`s mother in his life. here is some reason that shows modi`s intention behind was only to catch attention of public, Media and social media. There were many event where modi ignored his mother. one thing was sure that modi knew that indian media covering the whole US trip and covering live. Here is some facts some raise question over modi`s emotional drama.
1. Narendra modi never said that his mother worked done such task when Modi was small. in his all campaign before election he talked about his childhood when he used to sell tea on railway station.

2. Modi wanted to catch media attention cause there is election in bihar and media was covering was Modi`s US trip. So modi wanted to gain emotional support for Bihar election and also the support of US NRI.

3. He never let his mother to attend his swearing in ceremony while he was taking ouath as prime minister.

4. In Sap speech modi also talked about Sidhartha,Lord Buddha and Gaya Bihar. it shows that he was targeting bihar election and there was a great munch while all indian media was covering it.

5. He slapped congress president and his son-in-law mostly. Mostly Pm dont do likes of it from other land. 

So these are some reason i think modi fails in his agenda. He could not get place on US newspaper headlines meanwhile he was supported by social media and india electronics media.
